The Healthcare Communications Association (HCA) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with the stated aim of promoting excellence and best practice in the field of healthcare communications.  It is now a high profile and influential player in the healthcare arena and has sufficient influence and credibility to shape opinion and lead debate.  The HCA counts a significant proportion of the leading communications consultancies and pharmaceutical companies among its members, who all agree to follow the HCA Code of Conduct.

Latest HCA Event: STOP PRESS: Effective Media Relations for Healthcare Communications Professionals, 8 October 2008, London

The next HCA training event will take place on 8 October 2008 in Central London.  The HCA is holding an introductory course 'STOP PRESS: Effective Media Relations for Healthcare Communications Professionals', aimed specifically at those people (in-house or agency) who are new to working with the media.  The course offers practical advice and hands-on skills in media writing, and working with the media, as well as the opportunity to meet and learn from real-life journalists. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 17:00 06/10/98.
