An Evening With David Lewis - the new Director of Corporate Affairs, ABPI

On Tuesday 26th June 2007, the HCA will be hosting an evening with David Lewis, the new Director of Corporate Affairs for the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI).

David joins the ABPI from Britvic where his responsibilities have included delivering strategic, multi-stakeholder communications and investor relations for a succesful flotation on the London Stock Exchange.  Before this he held similar roles with Unilever, BAE Systems and the Finance & Leasing Association.  David came to public affairs with a background in journalism including stints on The Sun and the Guardian. 

Be the first to hear David's views on how the ABPI should address the issues and challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry and the changes needed to enhance its reputation amongst the public, politicians and the media.  There will also be plenty of time for questions and answers, so take the opportunity to air your views on the future of the ABPI.

The meeting is a closed forum, is open to members only and intended for senior personnel within HCA member companies.  The meeting will be held between 5.30 pm and 6.45 pm at Browns Courtrooms, Browns Restaurant, St. Martin's Lane, Covent Garden, London, WC2N.  Registration is from 5 pm and drinks and light refreshments will be available.

To cover the costs of the meeting, the following charges apply: 1st attendee per member company £75; each additional attendee per member company thereafter £60.  No refunds can be made following registration although attendees from the same member company can be substituted (please note that substitutions made on the evening will be asked for a company business card for verification purposes).
