HCA Social - Comedy Night for Charity - 22 November 2007

Deborah Frances-White has written and performed three full-length solo comedy shows at The Edinburgh Festival.  She has performed and taught all over the world and recently made a television pilot for ITV, for which she is host.

She has performed at the Hackney Empire, the RSC Summer House, the PIT New York, The Atheneum Chicago, and in theatres and comedy clubs across London and in LA, Amsterdam, New Zealand and Paris. She regularly features on BBC Radio and is currently putting together a new improvisation show for Hat Trick Television.

Deborah owns and runs the Spontaneity Shop, a company that develops new forms of comedy improvisation in London. She runs corporate training and developed the Spontaneity Shop's Charisma Coaching programme and counts Unilever, IBM, UBS and the NSPCC among her clients.

Deborah studied improvisation with Patti Stiles and Keith Johnstone. She won a Cameron Mackintosh Award as a playwright while still at Oxford University and recently sold a romantic comedy screenplay to a Hollywood studio (Fox Searchlight).
