Introduction

In 2008 the HCA is coordinating a series of breakfast briefings for members to hear expert speakers discuss topical subjects and areas of hot debate.  We are delighted to announce the first of these briefings will be with SImon Gregor, Director of Communications at the MHRA, on the role of communication as part of the MHRA's strategy to manage and minimise counterfeit medicines in teh UK and safeguard public health.

What will be gained, and who should attend?

The briefing promises to be an excellent opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of the supply chain process, the potential impace of counterfeit medicines and the role of industry and regulatory bodies in protecting and maintaining patient safety.  It is open and relevant to all personnel within HCA member companies including marketing, medical information, regulatory and legal affairs.
