PMCPA Code Revisions and their implications for healthcare communications practitioner

Introduction

The 2008 PMCPA Code of Practice has been finalised and will be published in July 2008.  Code experts Dr Patricia Campbell and Ian Hale will take HCA members through the key revisions and discuss their implications for healthcare communications activities.  A more detailed, practical and formal training session on two of the key revisions - commissioning healthcare professionals and working with patient groups - is in development and will be announced shortly.

What will be gained, and who should attend?

This evening discussion forum will provide an informal opportunity for members to review and discuss the key revisions to the new code and share thoughts on implementation and implicaitons at both a senior, strategic and operational level.  It is open to HCA members only and is of particular relevance to senior in-house and consultancy communications practitioners who are responsible for understanding and ensuring code compliance and best practice within their organisations and activities.

How much will it cost?

The cost to attend is just £50 pp plus vat.
