Welcome

The Healthcare Communications Association (HCA) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with the stated aim of promoting excellence and best practice in the field of healthcare communications.  It is now a high profile and influential player in the healthcare arena and has sufficient influence and credibility to shape opinion and lead debate.  The HCA counts a significant proportion of the leading communications consultancies and pharmaceutical companies among its members.

Latest HCA Event: Introduction to PR - Meeting Needs and Achieving Results

The next HCA training event will take place on 18 September 2008 in Central London.  This training workshop is designed specifically for those people who have either just started their first PR and communications role (either in-house or agency based), or are working alongside PR and communications colleagues and want to have a greater understanding of what the role entails.  This introductory course helps delegates to understand how PR and communications fits within the marketing mix, as well as introducing plenty of interactive sessions to develop practical skills.
